The County Board on July 16 approved a $1.6 million contract with Sagres Construction Corporation to build the first four of 23 transit stations planned for Columbia Pike. Construction is expected to begin this fall and be completed by fall 2020. The first four stations will be at South Glebe Road westbound, South Oakland Street westbound, South Buchanan Street westbound, and South Four Mile Run Drive eastbound.
