Arlington County Police Department’s Homicide/Robbery Unit is investigating a suspicious death in the Ballston-Virginia Square neighborhood.

At approximately 5:29 p.m. on Jan. 17, police were dispatched to the 800 block of N. Randolph Street for the report of cardiac arrest. Upon arrival, an adult male victim was located deceased inside a residence. Cause of death will be determined by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

This remains an active criminal investigation and the preliminary investigation has not revealed an immediate threat to the community.
