Help Identify Suspect in Bank Robbery

The Arlington County Police Department’s Homicide/Robbery Unit, along with the FBI’s Washington Field Office, is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a bank robbery suspect captured on surveillance footage.

The robbery occurred at 9:19 a.m. on May 6, in the 900 block of N. Taylor Street at a BB&T. The subject entered the bank and approached a teller with a hand written note demanding money. After receiving a sum of money, the suspect fled the scene on foot.

He is described as black male, approximately 5’7” tall, with a medium build. He was wearing a dark green trench coat, khaki pants, a red scarf and a Boston Red Sox baseball hat. He also wore glasses and had facial hair.
