Charles Toftoy sits with his turbo-jav, a shorter and lighter version of the long javelin, which is illegal in Arlington. He will be participating in his "20th or so" Northern Virginia Senior Olympics in several sports including the cornhole toss, the 400-meter walk and his newest obsession, pickleball.
